 Today's Inspirational Quote: "

If you try anything, if you try to lose weight, or to improve yourself, or to love, or to make the world a better place, you have already achieved something wonderful, before you even begin. Forget failure. If things don't work out the way you want, hold your head up high and be proud. And try again. And again. And again!" -- Sarah Dessen

The Virtue of Love & Joy

“On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.  ‘Teacher,’ he asked, ‘what must I do to inherit eternal life?’  ‘What is written in the Law?’ he replied.  ‘How do you read it?’ He answered: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and, Love your neighbor as yourself.’  ‘You have answered correctly,’ Jesus replied.  ‘Do this and you will live.’” (Luke 10:25-28)   Again, in Matthew 22:37-40: “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment. Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails…  And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-8, 13)  “God is love.  Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16) The best way to know God is to love many things… That leads to God; that leads to unwavering faith.” Joyfulness is an inner sense of peace and happiness. You appreciate the gifts each day brings. Without joyfulness, when the fun stops, our happiness stops. Joy can carry us through the hard times even when we are feeling very sad. Joy gives us wings. We can all fly as angels with love & romance. The Theory of Moral Sentiments” that “the chief part of human happiness arises from the consciousness of being loved and loving.
